YNS October Preview Day

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's that time of the month at Your Next Stamp!!

It's Preview Day today!
Tomorrow is Release Day!!!!

I just LOVE this time of the month at YNS!!

Once again, there is a wonderful release in store for you!
Available tomorrow!!!

---------------------

I used the adorable new HolidayBuddies stamp set as well as the coordinating HolidayBuddies Die Set!  The only trouble with this set, is which cutie to use first!!  There are 8 different characters in this stamp set to choose from!  Along with two sentiments!

Since I LOVE snowman, I decided to work with him first!!
When I look at him, I want to sing "Frosty the Snowman"!!  Reminds me of him!

I used the new Snowfall Panel Die for the background!!  What a great background die!  I absolutely love winter and snow!!

I also used the new Evergreen Trees Die behind the snowman to help pull my entire snowy/wintery scene together!!

The "Holiday Joy" sentiment is also from the HolidayBuddies stamp set!  Did you see YNS has an ink line now?!?!  My sentiment was stamped with Black Olive!!

For my sweet card today, I primarily followed the sketch!  But I switched it up a little!!

I decided to place the rectangle/square piece behind my sentiment layer, as I ended up just using a pretty piece of patterned paper for it!
I really like how this sweet Baby card turned out!!!

I used the Cute Alpha Squares stamp set and coordinating Cute Alpha Squares Die Set to create the custom "Baby" sentiment!!

I finished off my card by adding some Bright White Divine Twine under the sentiment and adding some lovely Hey Baby Sparkly Gumdrops to each of the corners in pink!!

You My Friend

Hello Stamping Friends!

I'm so excited to be sharing a fun card with you using beautiful stamps from Inspired By Stamping!!

I've been working on this card for a few weeks, trying to get the measurements just right!!

So here is my instructions for a fun Tower Fold Card!!

I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock 8"x8"! This will be the main card base.

I then scored opposite sites at 2".

Then along both those score lines I used a pencil and ruler to mark at 1", 2 1/4", 3 1/4", 4 3/4", 5 3/4" and 7".

I then used my ruler to line up each of those marks and used an cutting knife to cut from score mark to score mark.

It should look like this:

Now you are going to score at 4" on just the 1" pieces...(4 scores total, I made them in red to show more)

Then on the 1 1/4" (2 total) and 1 1/2" (1 total) pieces you are going to score 1" from the main original score line we created on both ends.
So you'll be scoring a total of six little score lines.

This is how it should look...
This is my card actually laying upside down!  Sorry I didn't realize at the time of taking the picture that I didn't have it the right way up! Lol!  I was so excited I had finally found measurements that I really liked and were going to work out to my vision I had that I totally didn't even notice until I went to edit!

So now for the FUN!!!  Getting to decorate your card!!

I started by first finding the papers I was going to use:
I just love these fun papers!!

My finished card:
I kept it a little simple!  I had wanted to add some stamped flowers or actual paper flowers, but to me it had gotten to busy!

I used the awesome Fancy Labels 3 Die to for my main layering as well as the banners to the top left!  My "You, my friend, are Beautiful!" sentiment is from the Beautiful You stamp set!!!

I also added some beautiful stamped butterflies from the Butterflies stamp set!
I think they add such a nice touch to the card!!

 *Don't mind my fingers!!*
This is what the card looks like folded up:
 What a fun fold card!!
I love it!
So excited I was able to find measurements that worked perfectly in my opinion!!  Now to make more!!

Have a lovely day!

Santa Suit

Hello Stamping Friends!

I have a fun clean and simple card to share with you today using dies from Frantic Stamper!!

For my card today I used the fun Santa Suit Card Maker!!
It creates a very clean and simple card, but yet so very fun!!

On Santa's suit layer (red) I embossed it with a swirly embossing folder to give it some fun interest!!

I used felt for the white pieces!!

And for his belt latch, I used a piece of gold paper!!

Such a quick and fun card!

If you were looking at mass producing a ton of cards, really quick, this die is definitely a must have!  And even if you're not, it is still super fun to have!!  I really enjoyed working with it!!

For my Christmas card I wanted to share with you today, I was inspired to use the beautiful Poinsettia Tangle stamp set!!!

The large poinsettia in this stamp set is absolutely gorgeous!!
I could see it colored in so many different ways, but for my card today, I decided to stick with the traditional red poinsettia!  Wanted and elegant holiday card!!

I really like the "Wishing a Beautiful Christmas" sentiment in the set as well!!  Perfect with the image!!

I decided to stamp the poinsettia two times, so I could trim it up to have a couple of the petals popped up, to make the flower look 3D!
How beautiful!!

I added some yellowish/gold rhinestones to the center, which I think adds the perfect touch!  Before adding the poinsettia to the card, I used a clear sparkly spritz to add sparkle to it!! LOVE!!

Behind the poinsettia I added a strip of the new Winter Plaid Paper!  I just love this paper for holiday cards!!  And even better, the opposite side is snowflakes!!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Your next stop in the hop is Chris's blog!

We hope you are inspired all along the way!

Hello Crafty Friends!!

I have a fun card to share with you today using some awesome products from The Stamps of Life!!

Have you seen the adorable new pilgrimGIRL2stamp?
She is so adorable!!  I love her!!
I started by die cutting her from a piece of white cardstock, as I set it back down on my work table!  I thought it would be fun to not color her in and pop her up above where I die cut her from!  Something a little different then normal!!

I decided to add a wood heart to her hands, as if she was holding it!!

Autumn a Second Spring

Hello Stamping Friends!!

I'm on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog today!!

With Fall in the air here in WI, I thought for my post today I would feature the beautiful Tangle Leaves stamp set!

I collected a few supplies:

Paint Brush
Ink (Totally Black, Pomegranate, Bright Pumpkin, Sunset Yellow)
Watercolor Paper
Water
Stamp Set (Tangle Leaves)

I started by first deciding what leaf I was going to work with from the Tangle Leaves so I would know how to make the watercolor background!

I then used my paint brush to dip the tip of it lightly in my water and then lightly brushed the water on my water color paper where I was first going to add color.  I then lightly pressed the tip of the paint brush on the ink pad to grabbed some color!  Then you can brush the color on the paper where you added the water!
Continue working with the color and water till you get a watercolor piece you like!

I was really happy with this:
Now the hard part...letting it dry!

I personally hate this step!  LOL.  I just would like to stamp the leaf right away, but warning if you would the ink tends to bleed a little because of the water used!

So if you are really impatient, like I tend to be sometimes, you can use your heat gun to make it dry faster!

After letting it dry I stamped the gorgeous leaf and sentiment!

My finished card:
Isn't it beautiful?!
I sure think so!

I just love the lead images in the Tangle Leaves stamp set!!

Have a beautiful day!

Birthday Shaker

Hello Stamping Friends!

I have another card I created to submit in the My Favorite Things 2016 Card Design Superstar Contest!!

This time I am featuring the super fun Die-namics Birthday Centerpieces Die!
I absolutely LOVE this fun die!!
I created a double shaker with the die, so that the center could be stars and the the otter circle with the "happy birthday" sentiment could be a mixture of colors!!
Here is an in process look of my double shaker I created:

I love being able to create more than one shaker in a card!

I used the awesome Trail Mix Pattern Paper for this card!!  Such an awesome pad for those masculine cards!!

So super fun!!
