Flip Flopping Fabulous!

Hello Stamping Friends!

Have you seen the new "Vacation at the Beach" die release from Frantic Stamper!!

There are some super fun new dies!  Be sure to check them all out here!!

Today I am featuring the new Flip Flops!!
The die set includes the shoe soles, toe pieces and 4 interchangeable decorative elements!!

I love flowers, so I went with the decorative flowers and added a rhinestone in the center to add a little bling!!

Aren't they fun?!  I sure think so!

The "You're Flip Flopping Fabulous!!" is a computer generated sentiment!

I just love being able to throw on a pair of flip flops!!
And especially taking a walk out to our pond!

Some of you may know life here has been pretty crazy!  We are currently building!

We recently finished up the landscaping around our pond, so it is one of our favorite spots to go!  You normally can find us swimming lately!! :)
My husband thinks I'm crazy, but I just had to have a rainbow of chairs since this is my happy place!!  Now if only we could get even more rain to fill the pond up!

That was just a slight personal note, I hope all is well with you!

Thanks for stopping by!

Have a lovely day!

Father's Day Fishing

Hello Stamping Friends!

Hope you are having a great weekend!!

Just wanted to share a Father's Day card I created and just noticed I forgot to post!

I really like how this card turned out so wanted to still share it:
I used the awesome Fishing Lesson die from Frantic Stamper!  I used the die to die cut the oval from the front of my card base and then used it again and die cut the image on black cardstock!

I used the All In the Family stamp set to create the "Happy Father's Day" sentiment!  I just love how you can build your own sentiments in this set!!

I love the window that I created!!  When you open the card you can still see the adorable silhouette!!

Have a lovely day!

I was inspired to us super cute Silly Monsters stamp set and coordinating Silly Monsters Die Set!!
At first I was going to create a Birthday card, but then I thought it would be fun to create an everyday type of card.  To either send my nephew or to send my son in the mail "just because"!  They love getting mail too!!

I used the Cool Tag Three Die Set to die cut the banner in which I stamped the sentiment on!

On the rectangle die cut piece  I stamped the fun Flower Ink Splatter a few times in yellow ink!  I then stamped one of the sentiments from the Cool Tag Banner Sentiments stamp set on the wavy banner die cut!

Fun with Crayons

Hello Stamping Friends!!

I'm on the Dare 2B Artzy Blog today!!

For my post today, I want to share something a little fun idea for a kids card!

So when we have fun images we are always so eager to color them with a coloring medium of our choice!  Well for today's project I'm not coloring my image!!

I'm letting the recipient, a child in my case, the chance to color the image in themselves!!

Started by collecting a few supplies:

Cardstock
Crayons
Twine

Start by stamping your image, I decided to use the adorable dog from the Ruff Day stamp set! And stamped the "Happy Birthday" from the Bright Birthday stamp set!
I absolutely LOVE Dare 2B Artzy's stamps for this technique!! The images remind me of images you'd see in coloring books!  Which is perfect for this technique!

Now contain yourself from wanting to color the image in!  I know it is hard, as we all are use to coloring images in as soon as we stamp them!  But for this technique we aren't going to color it in!

Next put your crayons together!
I usually put 4 on my cards!

You can then adhere the bundle of crayons to your card!

So fun and simple, yet such a fun card to give a kid!

Here is my finished card:
I find that a card like this usually catches the interest of kids! As normally they aren't very interested in cards.

I finished the card off by adding some enamel hearts!

Fun Fishing Card

Hello Stamping Friends!

I have a fun card, in honor of Father's Day, to share with you today using some awesome dies from Frantic Stamper!!
I just LOVE how this card turned out!

I started off by using the Diagonal Card Sketcher Die Set to create the layout of this fun card!!

I used the Fishing Fly Assortment for the row of jigs on the top!

The stamped "Dad" sentiment is from the All In The Family stamp set!!

On the bottom half, I used the awesome Fancy Fish die!
I placed a googly eye behind to make it a little more fun!

I also used part of the Fishing Pole die to get the hook and some of the line, to make it look as if someone was about to catch this huge fish!!
Have a lovely day!

I used the new stamps4cupcaketripplit stamp set!  LOVE this new set!

I started by decidindg that I wanted to create a fun Flip-It card!  I then created the main middle piece, by first die cutting the cupcake top from the Triplit Cupcakes die set!

As I thought it would be super FUN to create a shaker cupcake!
I stamped the cupcake bottom outline in Licorice and then stamped the fun pattern to create the cool looking cupcake wrapper!!

I then stamped the on the inside piece of the shaker, the frosting outline and the polka dot pattern!! YUMMY!!
The "You are my cupcake!" sentiment is also from the stamps4cupcaketripplit stamp set!

I also added some swirls from the swirls2build stamp set to the edges of my pattern paper to add  a sweet touch!  As well as taking the cute little swirls stamp from the  stamps4cupcaketripplit stamp set to add the the two right corners!

We were to create a project with images that made us think of summer!

When I think of summer, I think of bright sunny days and flowers blooming!

So with that in mind I grabbed the fun Little Notes stamp set as well as the matching Little Notes Die Set!

I first create the fun clipboard and stamped the sentiment from the set!
I then stamped the sun and flowers, colored with my Copics! And then adhered them to my card!

Happy Birthday Shaker

Hello Stamping Friends!

It's my day once again to post on the Honey Bee Stamps Blog!!

But on a sad note, it is my last day! :(
I've really enjoyed designing with Honey Bee Stamps!  Melissa has so many amazing stamp sets to choose from!  And best of all they can be mixed and matched together so wonderfully!!

To finish up my term, I decided to create a shaker card, as I love creating them so much!

Back last August I created a tutorial for those who didn't know how to create shaker cards, you can find it here for reference.

I started by first deciding I wanted to create a Birthday card.  So I die cut a star border on both the top and bottom of my card base.
I then added the die cut piece back into the openings, added some acetate and my fun sentiment!

I love, love, love the Happy Everything stamp set!!!  I used the bold Happy along with the large swirly Birthday sentiment! I really like the beautiful font used for the Birthday!  I also added the "to you", from the set as well!!

I used the Country Wreath stamp set to add the fun starts around the sentiment!

Here's a look at the back side of my card after I added the foam and sequins:
As you can see, I thought it would be fun to add a bunch of foam to create separate openings for the sequins so I could have each star a separate color!!

My finished card:
I had so much fun with this card!

I think the stamped stars really work well with the sentiment!! I especially like the single star at the end of the "y" on birthday!!

At first glance a person could almost think that the stars and sentiment were all one!!  Rather than 5 separate stamps!!
The Star Line die cut is from Frantic Stamper!!  Such a fun star border die!!

"Bee" sure to check out all the lovely products Honey Bee Stamps has to offer!
Happy Stamping!!

Sparkle with GI

Happy Friday Stamping Friends!

It's my day to post on the Great Impression Stamps Blog once again!

Today I am using two GI stamps to create a fun layout!

I absolutely LOVE the Sparkle (E880)  sentiment!

When I got it I thought I would first create a shaker card with it, but then printed some photos and looking through them, I found these pictures of my daughter from last dance season, which I thought would work with perfectly with the sentiment!
She literately leaves sparkles EVERYWHERE she goes when she is wearing her dance costumes!!  hehe

Close-up:

I stamped the Queen Anne Lace (E807)  twice around the sentiment in pearlescent ink, as well as inking the edges, so there is a pretty shimmer!  Perfect with the sentiment!!

I finished up the layout by adding some die cut stars and sequins!!!
